The Group C Gemini was sold to John White’s apprentice or the father of the apprentice and was driven as a road car for a considerable number of years. The car was eventually disposed of at Kilsyth Auto Recovery Centre (a wrecking yard) in Canterbury Road Bayswater.

The Gemini was spotted on death row by an Isuzu Car Club enthusiast by the name of Rick Ludgate.

Rick was unsure of his latest acquisition and enlisted the help of ex John White mechanic/helper Paul Sabin.  Paul Sabin immediately identified the car as the Ex John White/ Ex HDT PF60E twin cam Group C Gemini.  As you can see in the below two photos taken by Paul Sabin at Rick Ludgate’s lockup, the flares and rear bob tail spoiler were still in place as are the unique round headlights only available on ZZ Geminis. The car is also complete with the TG Gemini 1600cc SOHC that was swapped for the original twin cam engine.

Photos below show the car as it was first discovered at the Kilsyth Auto recovery centre
